FEATURED HEALTHCARE MARKETING ARTICLE:

UNDERSTANDING THE BENEFITS OF THE 80/20 RULE IN HEALTHCARE MARKETING

There are very few rules repeated more in business these days than the "80/20 principle" of time management. In the world of healthcare marketing, the 80/20 principle is a way of life. In short, it states that 80% of our referrals come from 20% of our marketing efforts. The trick in healthcare marketing is to grow that 20% of true referral sources.

The 80/20 rule is simply to do less to get more and to get more with less to achieve those goals. If you could do your external marketing two days a week and get the same results you currently get working five days a week, would you be interested? As we've all observed any times, it's impossible to make real improvements to our marketing unless we do things differently.  CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL ARTICLE

To build your personal brand, reach your goals, and increase your success and fulfillment, you'll need to increase your visibility and get your message out.

One of the challenges we face as marketers is failure to truly plan out our relationship-marketing strategies and tactics. We spend far too much time cold-calling without truly understanding the ramifications of a poorly constructed plan.

We need to be able to deliver our message, as well as listen to the message of others. How can we develop the gift of gab? Many believe you either have it or you don’t. My belief is that for some it is a very natural skill, for others it is learnable.

Downsized?
Don't Take it personally!

How can we not take it personally to be downsized from a job? No matter how we spin it we have been let go….I was told my job was eliminated, I was not terminated. Since, at the time I had entirely too much time, I actually looked up the definitions of eliminated and terminated.

Terminated means to bring to an end and eliminated is to get rid of. No matter how it’s defined the bottom line is OUT OF WORK……
